The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid have made interested parties aware of the price-tag set for star winger Vinícius Jr.
This comes amid claims of a ‘complete breakdown’ in negotiations over a contract extension between the parties.
Vinícius’ entourage have been locked in talks with Real Madrid over a new deal for their client in Spain’s capital for some time now.
To date, however, no agreement between the parties has been found.
As much has given rise to mounting tensions, only made worse by the Brazilian’s fractured relationship with new manager Xabi Alonso.
And if the latest word stemming from the media early this week is anything to go by, then this situation is looking increasingly likely to culminate in a parting of ways between club and player in the near future.
As per a report from transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri of Sky:
‘According to several reliable sources, Real Madrid has set Vinícius Júnior’s starting price at €150 million, following the complete breakdown of contract extension talks.’
The Santiago Bernabéu board are ready to sanction a sale as soon as the summer of 2026.
Saudi Arabia is currently considered Vinícius’ most likely landing spot, despite Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City keeping a close eye on the situation.
