Real Madrid star Aurélien Tchouaméni was forced into a premature departure from training on Monday.

That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who have provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.

Real Madrid are of course currently in the midst of final preparations for a return to action on the continent tomorrow evening.

A Champions League meeting with Borussia Dortmund lies in wait, at the Santiago Bernabéu.

As alluded to above, though, the efforts of Los Blancos to get the better of Dortmund could well come sans the contributions of a leading member of the club’s midfield ranks.

As per a report from El Chiringuito TV, Aurélien Tchouaméni limped out of group training at Valdebebas on Monday evening.

The early signs point towards a muscular problem for the Frenchman, who was spotted at Real’s medical centre a short time ago.

It now remains to be seen whether or not the problem proves enough to keep Tchouaméni out of proceedings against Dortmund on Tuesday.
