Real Sociedad B begin pre-season, Segunda return set, Lebarbier renews and Ramírez departs | OneFootball

Real Sociedad B have returned to work as the 2026 pre-season begins under Jon Ansotegi, with several changes to the squad, ahead of another Segunda División campaign. Their league season starts on Sunday 16 August at Zubieta against CD Castellón.

According to AS, Ansotegi and Imanol Agirretxe led the first session on pitch z3 at Zubieta. Sanse have five and a half weeks to prepare before the opener.

A 24-strong group reported for day one, including Theo Folgado, Lander Olasagasti, Jon Garro, Unax Agote, Iker Calderón and Joan Oleaga.

Friendlies: 18 July, Burgos CF in Torrelavega, 19:00. Zubieta hosts Pau FC on 25 July, 19:00, SD Eibar on 29 July, 19:00, and SD Huesca on 1 August, 19:30. They then visit Real Zaragoza on 8 August, 19:30, at Ibercaja Estadio.

In the past 24 hours there has been one renewal and one transfer. Alex Lebarbier has extended his deal until the end of the 2027-2028 season, having joined as a youth and helping Sanse stay in LaLiga Hypermotion despite a knee injury. Real Sociedad have also agreed Darío Ramírez’s move to Club Gimnàstic de Tarragona.
