“Really nice development” – Relationship down Chelsea’s left is incredibly promising for Blues | OneFootball

Enzo Fernandez was excellent in Chelsea’s win over Wolves at the weekend. He made it through the first half without misplacing a pass, and in the second half was spraying balls around all over.

On the London is Blue podcast they picked out the Argentine for special praise after a performance which had a bit of everything from the former Benfica man.

“Enzo Fernandez doing a really nice job in this game, just some really, really nice passing, some really good fight for the ball as well, to build that stability in midfield. I think you mentioned like the partnership between him and Garnacho on the left side, with Cucurella too, that’s a really nice development we’re seeing,” presenter Dan Dormer said.

“And then I think the way that he’s protected his knee, he’s not going on international duty, just taking this sort of protracted time of rest to really be able to go pedal to the metal into late November and into December here to make sure that he can contribute at the highest level.”

It’s the positive way of looking at it and we couldn’t agree more. Let’s hope this injury clears up.
