Reece James has had a great season, and the stats show it. He’s topping the Premier League in a very important category.

It’s been a great season for Reece James, who has been able to play more than he has for years and has had some truly great games for Chelsea.

With 31 game-weeks gone James tops the whole league in terms of big chances created by defenders. His delivery is just exceptional, both from open play and set pieces.

As ever, what makes this extra impressive is the limited games that James is doing this in compared to some others on the list. While his fitness record has been good this season, he’s out hurt at the moment, and has missed multiple games in the interest of keeping him ready to play in midweek Champions League games.

We can’t wait to get him fit and playing again, hopefully in a month or so, and we can’t wait for him to finally get a run with England at a major tournament.
