Rennes predicted XI v Strasbourg: Valentin Rongier suspended | OneFootball

Stade Rennais will be without key midfielder Valentin Rongier when they head to the Stade de la Meinau to face RC Strasbourg Alsace on Sunday evening. 

The former Olympique de Marseille and FC Nantes midfielder misses out on this game due to suspension. In the centre of midfield, it is expected to be Poland international Sébastien Szymanski who partners Mahdi Camara. 

Franck Haise is expected to opt for a two-man attack this evening, with Esteban Lepaul partnered by Breel Embolo. Rennes also remain without Jérémy Jacquet, who sustained a shoulder injury back in February, in the wake of the confirmation of his move to Liverpool. Przemyslaw Frankowski is also sidelined for Rennes. In his place, it is Alidu Seidu who is expected to start on the right of Haise’s back four.
