Strasbourg predicted XI v Rennes: Valentin Barco and Guéla Doué out | OneFootball

RC Strasbourg Alsace will be without two key players as they prepare to host Stade Rennais at the Stade de la Meinau on Sunday afternoon.

Valentin Barco twisted his ankle during the midweek victory over Mainz (4-0), which saw them advance to the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League at the Bundesliga side’s expense (agg. 4-2). The Argentina international, heavily linked with a move to partner club Chelsea, will miss the game against Rennes as a result. 

However, there is no great concern over Barco’s fitness and Gary O’Neil has said that he may yet return for the game against OGC Nice in the Coupe de France in midweek. Guéla Doué, who has been struggling with a virus, will also miss out, although, like Barco, he could return in midweek.
