Report – Bournemouth Ready To Rival Inter Milan For In-Demand Lecce Center-Back | OneFootball

Premier League minnows Bournemouth have reportedly entered the race to sign Inter Milan target Tiago Gabriel.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio via FCInterNews, the Cherries have set their sights on the Lecce center-back.

Tiago Gabriel has been on Inter’s shortlist since the beginning of the season.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri have identified the Portuguese youngster as a promising long-term option in their defensive overhaul.

However, they’ve yet to open talks with Lecce, prioritizing moves for other targets.

In addition to Gabriel, Inter have earmarked Sassuolo ace Tarik Muharemovic as another exciting option.

Despite Juventus’ sell-on clause, Cristian Chivu’s men are contemplating a summer bid for the 22-year-old.

Yet, Bournemouth sporting director Tiago Pinto is a big-time admirer of the Bosnian starlet.

Therefore, the Cherries are also ready to challenge Inter for Muharemovic’s signature.

As for Gabriel, he has made 18 appearances for Lecce this season, finding the back of the net once.
