Chelsea loanee Nicolas Jackson is not viewed internally as a long term solution at the club according to reports.
Jackson is currently on loan at Bayern Munich having completed a deadline day loan switch to the German champions last summer.
There’s an obligation to buy in the loan deal, but given Jackson’s participation in the African Cup of Nations it’s not possible to hit the criteria to activate it.
Jackson has scored five goals in 21 appearances for Bayern this season, but has only started five Bundesliga games.
The Senegal international reportedly doesn’t want to play for Chelsea again, and the Blues will once again be tasked with finding another club.

Jackson is unlikely to remain at Bayern after his loan.
There are reportedly a number of clubs keeping an eye on Jackson, and TEAMtalk have reported the striker isn’t viewed internally as a long term solution at Stamford Bridge.
Jackson is known to have interest from Italy, whilst he attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs last summer.
Even if Jackson did have a change of heart and decide he wanted to play for the Blues again, it’s hard to see where he fits in given Chelsea have agreed a deal for Emmanuel Emegha to arrive from Strasbourg in the summer.
Whilst Jackson’s future clearly lies away from the club, Chelsea have recently been linked with Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez.

The Blues were linked with the 26-year-old before he left Manchester City for Atletico, and it’s thought the Argentine could be on the move this summer.
Arsenal and Barcelona are believed to be interested, and former Blue Jason Cundy has urged Chelsea to make a move for Alvarez, with Atletico rumoured to want as much as £86m.
