Inter Milan have reportedly identified Hajduk Split teenager Branimir Mlacic as a concrete target ahead of the January transfer window.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Serie A giants view the Croatian youngster as a potential future star.

While enjoying a rise to stardom at Poljud, Branimir Mlacic has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s hottest young prospects.

Indeed, several top clubs, including Real Madrid and Olympique Marseille, have taken note of his progress.

However, Inter Milan are eager to beat the competition and lure Mlacic to San Siro as early as January.

After contacting the 18-year-old’s entourage, Inter have opened talks with Hajduk Split to discuss the transfer.

Despite his burgeoning talent, Mlacic is an affordable option for the Nerazzurri, considering Hajduk value him at €5 million.
