Branimir Mlacic has been on Beppe Marotta’s shortlist since the beginning of the January transfer window.

Furthermore, the San Siro giants have made concrete steps to sign the 18-year-old center-back.

Indeed, they’ve already found an agreement with Hajduk Split over the teenager’s move to Serie A.

Inter have agreed to pay around €5.5 million for the defender’s services.

Moreover, they’re ready to let Mlacic stay in Split on loan until the end of the season to sweeten the deal.

Although Hajduk have already accepted Inter’s proposal, the player’s family is yet to give their final approval.

As such, the Nerazzurri must persuade Mlacic’s camp that a move to Italy would be in his best interest.
