Despite the Portuguese striker’s rough time in Paris, the 19-time Serie A champions are prepared to shell out nearly €70 million to secure his services. Whether it’s the right decision remains to be seen.

Furthermore, Jackson’s wastefulness in front of goal has become notorious. It’s difficult to see him developing into the reliable goalscorer Milan desperately need at this stage of their rebuild. Yet, if they can sign him on loan without an obligation to buy, the deal could represent a low-risk opportunity to add depth and competition in attack.
