FC Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez has been linked to a move to Chelsea recently. As per various sources, the London-based club is interested in the Spanish midfielder. Moreover, the English club has reportedly even contacted the player’s camp.
However, there are still reportedly no talks between Chelsea and Barça for now. Even then, a lot depends on the Catalan club’s perspective and whether or not they are even okay with allowing Lopez to leave this summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, however, there are two conditions under which Barça would let Lopez leave this summer. The first condition is self-explanatory, and that is that the Spanish club would want the player to personally request his departure.
As for the second condition, that has more to do with the actual offer that potentially arrives. In that context, Barça would reportedly only consider selling the young midfielder if an offer above €70 million arrives for the Spaniard.

Both of these conditions make sense, but it still seems as if Hansi Flick would not be too happy about the idea of losing Lopez this late in the transfer window. After all, it would be unlikely for Barça to use those funds to facilitate some other arrival at this point.
