Robert Lewandowski equals Neymar record in Barcelona’s win over Oviedo

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has on Thursday joined an iconic figure in Catalunya’s capital in the club’s history books.
This comes owng to the former’s efforts in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.
Barcelona were of course back in action a short time ago, making the trip to the Estadio Carlos Tartiere for a La Liga meeting with Real Oviedo.
When all was said and done, Hansi Flick’s troops emerged on the right side of a 3-1 result, to close the gap on arch rivals Real Madrid atop the table to just two points.
And en route to as much, the aforementioned Robert Lewandowski proved himself nothing short of pivotal.
With the scoreline locked at 1-1 during the 2nd-half, the Pole was introduced to proceedings off the bench by boss Hansi Flick.
And within minutes, Lewandowski had made his mark, directing a superb header home off the underside of the crossbar.
This came as the former Bayern Munich man’s 105th goal in the colours of Barcelona.
This is the same number as was managed by another once-prolific Blaugrana star during his time at the Camp Nou, in the form of Neymar Jr.
