Robert Snodgrass has praised incoming Leeds signing Harry Wilson, who has agreed a move to Elland Road subject to medical and paperwork after last summer’s collapsed deadline-day switch. Leeds faced strong competition for the 29-year-old Wales winger following an exceptional 2025-26. He would be the first addition of the window ahead of United’s second season back in the Premier League.

“Harry Wilson is an exceptional talent and would have had a host of teams trying to sign him,” said Snodgrass, speaking to talkSPORT BET Sportsbook.

“He is that sort of inside-right with great ability. I think it would be a statement signing because Leeds play with their full-backs high, and he would complement them by coming inside and doing his work inside the park.”

“He was a breath of fresh air last season with some of his goals and performances. I saw Craig Bellamy speak about what a top talent he is. He will be a great addition and a great signing for Leeds.”

“I think the goal for Leeds was always to come back bigger, better, and stronger, learning from the mistakes of the last time they were up. They need to get cemented in the Premier League and try to kick on. They had some great performances in the latter stages to stay up and looked quite comfortable in the end.”
