Rodrigo Garro leads Corinthians assist chart after win over Red Bull Bragantino | OneFootball

Rodrigo Garro moved top of Corinthians’ 2026 assist chart with his second of the year, setting up Gabriel Paulista from a corner in a 2-0 win over Red Bull Bragantino at Neo Química Arena in the Campeonato Brasileiro third round.

According to Meu Timao, he now leads a group on one that includes Gustavo Henrique, Vitinho, Matheus Bidu, Ryan, Memphis Depay, Dieguinho, Kaio César and Pedro Raul, with Ryan currently on loan at Fortaleza.

The Argentine is aiming to reassert himself after an injury-hit 2025, a run of issues that saw Breno Bidon earn minutes in midfield. He started against Bragantino because Bidon sustained a right hamstring strain in the 1-0 loss to Palmeiras on Sunday.

Garro has 108 appearances for Corinthians, 88 as a starter, with 15 goals and 25 assists. He played a direct part in the club’s 2025 Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brasil triumphs, and the 2026 Supercopa do Brasil.

He could add to those numbers on Sunday when Corinthians face São Bernardo at 20:30 at Estádio Primeiro de Maio, the final round of the Campeonato Paulista’s opening phase.
