Roma are rapidly closing in on Donyell Malen.

We’re in the final stages of seeing the striker join the Giallorossi. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Dutch forward could arrive in Rome as early as today, Wednesday 14th January.

As Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo adds, Roma and Aston Villa have reached an agreement for the transfer of Malen.

The clubs have already completed the entire pre-contractual phase; the documents need to be formalized and signed to finalize the deal.

It will be a €2 million loan deal with a €25 million obligation.

Contacts are ongoing between the parties in recent hours to bring the 1999-born player to the capital.

Once the entire process is complete, Gian Piero Gasperini will have his second attacking addition at his disposal.
