After last night’s away defeat against Verona, Roma fans expressed their dissent, but this time in an unusual and symbolic way, without the aid of banners.
A statue of King Kong appeared outside the gates of the Trigoria sports center, to which a sign was hung with the words “Friedkin mo so’ c*** tua” (Friedkin, now you are f*cked) and photographs of Dan and Ryan Friedkin.
This gesture represents a strong and clear signal from the fans, disappointed by the team’s performance and the management of the ownership, and underlines the growing tension between the supporters and the top brass of the Giallorossi club.
