Roma finalizing Koulierakis’ transfer | OneFootball

Roma is preparing to welcome Kostantinos Koulierakis.

The Greek defender is very close to joining the Giallorossi from Wolfsburg. As reported by Matteo Moretto, it’s a deal that could be finalized within the next 24 hours.

The agreement between the Roman club and the player is complete, with the final details still to be finalized with the Germans. The deal, if it goes through, will be closed for a fee close to €15 million.

Gian Piero Gasperini will therefore have Hermoso’s backup, at least initially.

The 2003-born defender is considered a valuable player both for the present and the future, and could pose a threat to the Spaniard in the pecking order.

Following the Santiago Castro deal, which has yet to be announced, the Giallorossi have stepped up their transfer efforts. The deals aren’t limited to Koulierakis: the Roman club are also close to selling Angelino.

The Spanish winger failed to convince Gasp in the early stages of his preparations and will return to Spain, to Deportivo La Coruña. In attack, the spotlight remains on Abde Ezzalzouli.

The club is seeking an agreement with Real Betis, who continue to ask for a fee that those in Trigoria consider unfair for the Moroccan. The coach wants the new signings before his departure for Wales; these are crucial hours.
