Despite joining the club on deadline day, Manuel Akanji has already established himself as a vital player at San Siro.

Indeed, the 30-year-old has made four starts in Serie A, adding two more appearances in the Champions League.

Needless to say, Cristian Chivu views the Manchester City loanee as a key component of his defensive setup.

Meanwhile, the 20-time Italian champions expect to have Lautaro Martinez back tomorrow.

El Toro scored a brace in Argentina’s thumping 6-0 win over Puerto Rico last night.

In doing so, he became Argentina’s fourth all-time top scorer.

Elsewhere, Hakan Calhanoglu is also on his way back after helping Turkey see off Bulgaria and Georgia in the FIFA World Cup qualifying.

Finally, Italian stars Federico Dimarco, Alessandro Bastoni, Francesco Pio Esposito, and Davide Frattesi should also be back tomorrow.
