Romano confirms unusual PSG interest in Championship starlet – with two conditions | OneFootball

PSG are working out what to do with their attacking squad players this summer, and a West Ham star is apparently on their radar.

You don’t see many West Ham – PSG transfers, let alone Championship – PSG transfers, but this summer could be an exception.

The Hammers have been relegated from the Premier League, meaning a few bargain options are available for any team looking to add some quality. Linked to the Parisians at the moment is Crysencio Summerville, and top transfer source Fabrizio Romano has added his weight to the chatter today.

Summerville lower down PSG’s list

The Italian transfer guru says that PSG’s interest “depends on Barcola/Diomande.”

That is to say, if they don’t sell Bradley Barcola (Arsenal and others have been linked), there will be no need to sign Summerville. Equally, if they land their top target, Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, they won’t need Summerville either.

He’s very clearly a backup choice – but that doesn’t mean a bad option, if he’s available cheap. The fact that all the players mentioned are at the World Cup is another issue – things won’t move quickly until the big tournament is over, given how many moving parts there are here.
