Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams has praised the seamless integration of several newcomers into the national team's Africa Cup of Nations campaign, specifically highlighting Mohau Nkota, Sipho Mbule, Tshepang Moremi, and Mbekezeli Mbokazi.

The quartet are experiencing their first AFCON tournament, and Williams expressed his admiration for how quickly they have adapted to the high-pressure environment. "It's amazing to be honest," Williams told Sabc Sport. "Playing in an AFCON tournament is not easy, but to see them fit in, looking good and looking comfortable, is great to see. There is definitely good things to build on."

Reflecting on the match dynamics, Williams noted a shift after a strong start. "We started very well and everything seemed okay until they started putting pressure on us. I also think we sat back with our 1-0 lead. Half-time came at the right time for us and we were glad not to concede another goal before the break."

The skipper also singled out a pivotal tactical change, describing the introduction of Orlando Pirates winger Tshepang Moremi as an inspired move that immediately revitalized the team's attacking pressure.
