Rui Costa ‘to set’ Richard Ríos price at €35m amid Serie A interest | OneFootball

According to O Jogo, Benfica will only consider selling Richard Ríos for €35m as Rui Costa seeks to deter suitors before the summer window.

Napoli sporting director Giovanni Marina has already made exploratory contact and was told the conditions for negotiating the No 20's transfer.

Benfica want at least €35m, which would represent a profit on the €27m paid to Palmeiras at the start of the season. Napoli's initial stance is around €30m, short of the Lisbon club's demands.

Inter Milan and Roma have also registered interest recently. Former coach Mozart believes a switch to Antonio Conte's side would be positive for the Colombian international.

Ríos has made 40 appearances this season, with 22 in Liga Portugal Betclic and 12 in the Champions League. He has also featured three times in the Taça de Portugal, twice in the Taça da Liga and once in the Supertaça, totalling 3,200 minutes, with five goals and five assists. He is valued at €22m.
