Co-owner Ryan Reynolds was spotted on FaceTime in the directors' box as Wrexham celebrated an opener against Chelsea in the FA Cup. According to Wales Online, he joined the cheers from his seat as Sam Smith's strike was greeted by home supporters.
The Red Dragons hosted the eight-time winners on Saturday evening, seeking another giant killing after knocking Nottingham Forest out in the third round.
Chelsea named a side packed with Premier League talent, including Alejandro Garnacho and Pedro Neto. Smith drove low past Robert Sanchez from Callum Doyle's long pass.
As the players celebrated with supporters, TV cameras cut to Reynolds alongside Rob McElhenney, with Reynolds seemingly sharing a joke on his phone. Blake Lively joined the pair for the club's biggest game under their stewardship yet.
Smith nearly added a second later in the first half, then Ryan Longman forced a smart stop from Sanchez around the half-hour.
Chelsea levelled just before the interval with a fortunate own goal, after Garnacho's right-footed effort was cleared off the line by George Thomason and rebounded off Arthur Okonkwo.
Reynolds and McElhenney have been in charge since the National League and have overseen three straight promotions to the Championship. After 35 games, Wrexham sit in the play-offs, so another rise to the Premier League is not out of the question.
