Ryan Roberto causes stir at Flamengo training base amid uncertain future | OneFootball

Ryan Roberto, 18, caused a stir on arrival at Flamengo’s Ninho do Urubu, with his future at the club still unresolved.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the attacking midfielder posted a video showing academy youngsters hugging him at the training ground. He stepped out of his car to greet and chat with the kids, then posed for a photo.

Roberto is under contract until March 2027 and, for now, is not considering an extension. As a result, he has been left out of Flamengo’s under-20 matches.

Flamengo have received multiple proposals for the player. Lille are among the suitors and have offered 10 million euros, about R$ 57 million, while Shakhtar Donetsk have also signalled interest in the 18-year-old.

While his situation plays out, Flamengo face Botafogo in the Brasileirão Sub-20 on Wednesday 13 at the Engenhão. Kick-off is 17:00 Brasília time.
