Saint-Étienne’s Zouriko Davitachvili ruled out of Rodez trip

Saint-Étienne will be without Zouriko Davitachvili for Saturday’s crucial trip to Rodez after he suffered an ankle sprain.

According to L'Équipe, he left the match against Troyes last Saturday, which finished 0-3, and will not travel. Rodez are sixth and on an 18-match unbeaten run.

Julien Le Cardinal is in good shape and will be tested on Friday, with a possibility he is available.

Chico Lamba has a stress fracture, so his season is over.

Aïmen Moueffek sustained a heavy blow to a calf. Initial concern has eased, and he will also be assessed on Friday.

Third-placed ASSE have lost two in a row and taken only four points from their last four matches. One further league game remains, against Amiens on 9 May.
