Arsenal will entertain West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they hope to secure a victory at home in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn a 2-0 win over Olympiacos recently, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this London derby.

Mikel Arteta will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to revert to his strongest XI for this clash. Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Eberechi Eze could all play from the start of this game.

Defence

David Raya will operate in between the sticks for the Gunners after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. William Saliba will function alongside Gabriel at the centre of Arsenal‘s backline as they focus on keeping a good defensive shape at the back during the 90 minutes.

Jurrien Timber will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Riccardo Calafiori hopes to prove his worth as the left-back. Both of them will try to go forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.

Cristhian Mosquera and Ben White will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Arteta will probably revert to a midfield three of Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Martin Odegaard for this contest versus the Hammers this weekend. All three of them will try to retain possession well at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the West Ham half.

Ethan Nwaneri, Mikel Merino and Christian Norgaard will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.

Attack

Eberechi Eze will try to give a good account of himself on the left flank, while Bukayo Saka hopes to make a difference from the right wing.

Viktor Gyokeres will once again lead the charge for the North London club up top. He would be hungry to find the back of the net after failing to score in midweek.

Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli will be named on the bench as they await their opportunity to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if needed.
