Salah pictured in Trabzonspor kit ahead of move to Turkey | OneFootball

Mohamed Salah has been pictured in a Trabzonspor shirt for the first time as he prepares to complete his move to the club.

Salah is set to sign for the Turkish Süper Lig side on a two-year deal, after agreeing to leave Liverpool by mutual consent at the end of last season.

The 34-year-old has now been pictured in his new colours, as he travels to Istanbul for medical checks and to complete the move. He will wear the number 61 shirt, after Trabzonspor released images of Salah in the club’s kit.

Trabzonspor finished third in the Süper Lig last season, behind Istanbul giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. The club have former Premier League names Stefan Savić and Paul Onuachu as part of their first-team squad, alongside on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana.

The seven-time Turkish champions, who will compete in the Europa League in 2026/27, have made a statement signing as the club target only a second title in 43 years next season.
