Real Sociedad’s B team, Sanse, have opened pre-season for a second successive Liga Hypermotion campaign at Zubieta’s new "z3" with 24 players and 13 technical staff, led by Jon Ansotegi and Imanol Agirretxe. According to Diario Vasco, the squad starting work now will not be the one that faces Castellón on 16 August in Zubieta.

The objectives mirror last season, prioritising the promotion and preparation of young talents for the first team, with survival secondary. Both targets were met last term. There are five and a half weeks to sharpen up before the league begins.

For now, 12 youngsters are training with Rino Matarazzo’s senior side. In principle most, among them Fraga, Marchal, Lebarbier, Carrera and Dani Díaz, are due to return to Sanse for competition. For the over-23 trio Ochieng, Balda and Mikel Rodríguez, a decision is pending, stay in Primera, find alternatives, or return to Sanse, which would bar promotion until January.

Goalkeeper Lander Olasagasti, 22, is ready to start after almost 500 days sidelined, having featured for the C late last season. The group also includes first-team debutants Arkaitz Mariezkurrena and Lander Astiazaran, not initially chosen by Matarazzo this summer.

Left winger Andrews Adjabeng is viewed as a key prospect after a strong finish to last term. New signing Javier Soroeta arrives from Real Unión, and Sydney Osazuwa is back after an unsuccessful loan to AZ Alkmaar’s reserves, one goal in four matches. Among C-team reinforcements is Eloy Nebreda, born in Hendaia to a Cuban family.
