Scott McTominay overhead kick honoured on limited £20 Bank of Scotland note | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, the Bank of Scotland has unveiled a limited-edition £20 banknote honouring Scott McTominay, with only 100 produced. It celebrates his overhead kick in the 4-2 win over Denmark, a moment that came to symbolise Scotland’s qualification for the 2026 World Cup, their first since 1998.

The note blends traditional touches, including the Forth Bridge in the background, with the acrobatic strike. It carries the same face value as a standard note, but is intended chiefly as a collectors’ item for football fans.

50 notes will be offered in an online auction, and 25 will be allocated by ballot.

Two temporary safes will appear in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Supporters must crack the correct code to leave with one of the notes.

Proceeds from the auction and ballot will go to Crisis Scotland, the homelessness charity.
