Sebastiaan Bornauw has had limited game time for Leeds United this season amid January speculation over his future.

The 26-year-old centre-back joined from Wolfsburg last summer and has five league appearances, seven in all competitions.

He started away at Liverpool and at home to Manchester United. Joe Rodon's return put him back on the bench against Newcastle United, before he was recalled for the FA Cup tie at Derby County.

Replaced at half-time in that match with an abductor issue, he is fit again and ready to play Fulham on Saturday. With a near full squad available, he may need to be patient for opportunities.

"It is part of football. Of course, everyone wants to play as much as possible," he told Premier League Productions.

"In the beginning of the pre-season I had an injury, I was out for four or five weeks so I missed a lot of pre-season."

"I am happy that I got starts in two big games. I hope I get many more. We have four good centre-backs, we are all working hard and making each other better every day."
