One Chelsea player has just posted a positive injury return update via his Instagram account last night that will please fans.

Chelsea’s injury history has gotten a lot better in recent times and on the whole, they have been managing injuries very well and have managed to reduce them.

Sources: Chelsea now expecting permanent offers in for Christopher Nkunku

But there are still certain players who seem to suffer from regular injuries more than others. One of them is the club captain Reece James, although so far so good for him as he’s managed to last across the summer and into the new season after finishing the season strong last season.

There will obviously still be concerns over James going into this season though and I am sure we will see manager Enzo Maresca managing his minutes, because it is well known that he has been an injury-prone player throughout his short career so far so nobody will be getting too carried away here yet.

Another injury prone player is Romeo Lavia, although he’s not having such good luck as James is getting yet and is still out injured.

Lavia posted the image above on Instagram last night accompanied with the quote:

“Oh btw, I’m feeling better and stronger everyday. See you soon”

That is certainly a very positive update although there is no clear return date for him yet. I’d suspect the fact that he’s on the bike training in doors will mean we will soon see him back out running on the grass again soon.

Let’s hope he can stay fit

A lot like Wesley Fofana, who is also injury-prone but was back in the squad at the weekend, Chelsea fans will be hoping that Lavia can stay fit going into this new season.
