Inter’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina keeps the Serie A title race and battles across the table finely poised with eight games to play.
Football Italia reports that the run-in across the title, Champions League places and relegation fight remains wide open. Round 30 concluded on Sunday night with Inter held 1-1 by Fiorentina, after Milan beat Torino and Napoli overcame Cagliari to cut the leaders’ advantage by two points.
Inter are winless in their last three league matches. Their cushion over second-placed Milan stands at six points, with Napoli third, seven adrift.
Como sit fourth after a commanding 5-0 win against Pisa. Juventus and Roma are level on 54 points, three behind Cesc Fabregas’ side.
The survival fight is tight too, with Lecce and Cremonese on 27 points. Fiorentina are 16th on 29, and Cagliari 15th on 30.
