Juventus’ pursuit of Youssef En-Nesyri has hit a significant roadblock, with the move now officially on standby despite a previous total agreement between the clubs.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Sevilla have made a dramatic late entry into the race, pushing hard to bring their former striker back to Andalusia. While Juventus and Fenerbahçe had already found common ground over the transfer details, the Moroccan international has now paused the operation to carefully evaluate his future.
Sevilla are reportedly applying heavy pressure on the 28-year-old to convince him to return to Spain, leading the player and his representatives to remain in Turkey rather than traveling to Italy for medical examinations. This hesitation has frozen a deal that seemed destined for completion just 24 hours ago.
The Biancorossi’s late blitz has forced Juventus to wait, as En-Nesyri takes time to decide between a new adventure in Serie A under Thiago Motta or a return to the familiar surroundings of the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
