Sky Sport Italia warn that Juventus don’t have the all-clear yet from Youssef En-Nesyri, because while Fenerbahce agreed terms, he is still tempted by Sevilla.

The deal had seemingly been done, with the striker expected to fly out over the weekend to complete his medical.

Multiple sources all had the same details, a loan for €3m with option to buy for a further €17m at the end of the season.

There were even claims that En-Nesyri could land in Italy this evening, accompanied by director of sport Marco Ottolini, who has been in Istanbul for several days.

However, now Sky Sport Italia warn it is not the foregone conclusion people assumed, because while the two clubs have shaken hands on the terms, the player remains unconvinced.

Turkish sources confirm Ottolini is returning to Italy tonight, without the striker, and that Fenerbahce are irritated by their player’s attitude.

The issue is the on-going interest from Sevilla, as this would represent a return to Spain for En-Nesyri after his previous spell there from January 2020 to July 2024.

His €19.5m sale to Fenerbahce ended that experience, but he’d be eager to try again.

Juventus are therefore forced to wait and see, having already missed out on first choice Jean-Philippe Mateta of Crystal Palace.
