The US native joins the Reds following a successful collegiate career with Penn State from 2021 to 2024, as well as a spell with the Pittsburgh Riveters.
Damico captained Penn State in her final season, logging 1,167 minutes and finishing the year with one goal and five assists. She then signed for the Pittsburgh Riveters for the 2025 summer league, where she made 10 starts, scored four goals, provided four assists, and helped the team win their division.
Speaking on her arrival at Tolka Park, Olivia said: “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to play for such a respected club. We’ve got a talented squad and staff who’ve made me feel very welcome, and I’m excited to help the team achieve success in any way I can this season!”
Shelbourne FC Head Coach Sean Russell added: “We’re delighted to add Olivia to the squad. She’s someone that can add to our attacking options. She’s a player that is comfortable anywhere across the front and also across midfield. She wants to get on the ball, she wants to run at defences, and I think that she’s somebody who can excite the fans. She also gives a lot of high energy defensively. She has a fantastic attitude, and I think that she’ll be a really good addition to the squad.”
Shelbourne FC Technical Director Luke Byrne said: “Olivia is a really direct attacking player who plays multiple positions, giving Sean flexibility in how we attack. She’s extremely professional, ambitious and will fit in really well with the club’s culture. We’re really happy to get this signing over the line.”
