Silas Katompa Mvumpa could extend his stay at Stuttgart
Silas Katompa Mvumpa could sign a two-year contract extension with VfB Stuttgart, but only on the condition that he is loaned out as early as this winter.
Stuttgart is keen to avoid losing him on a free transfer in 2026, as the 27-year-old Congolese international would then be able to negotiate with other clubs. Even though he hasn't played this season and isn't registered for the Europa League, coach Sebastian Hoeneß has praised his performances in training. A loan move would allow Silas to get back on the pitch and showcase his full potential.
Several clubs have shown interest: Samsunspor, Cincinnati, New York Red Bulls, and Valencia FC. Silas has been with Stuttgart since 2019, making 132 appearances, scoring 35 goals, and providing 21 assists.
