Ferran Torres has had a roller coaster season so far. The Spanish international started the campaign on a positive note, showing that he can be trusted to become the club’s main striker.
However, since the turn of the year, Ferran has not looked the same and has struggled with goals, with his last goal coming in January.
This has led to immense pressure on Ferran Torres, whose future has now become a hot topic heading into the summer transfer window.
According to Cadena SER, Torres has decided to remain at Barcelona and will not consider leaving the club anytime soon.
This is despite the fact that the forward is not happy about his current situation at the club, with the player struggling with a lack of game time since January.

In the wake of his declining form, coach Hansi Flick has favoured Robert Lewandowski, with the club also ready to hand him a contract extension.
This hasn’t gone down well with Ferran. The former Manchester City star is far from happy about his current form and game time.
But that won’t convince him to leave Barcelona in the coming summer, as he sees himself at Camp Nou, fighting for a place in the first team.
However, if Ferran doesn’t improve soon, his long-term future at Barça could be in jeopardy as the club are actively searching for a new striker in the market.
Julian Alvarez has emerged as the undisputed number one target for the Blaugrana, and Ferran will hope that the club continue to face economic issues in their attempt to sign the Argentine international.
As far as his prospects are concerned, the coming few weeks will be crucial as Ferran looks to reclaim the faith of Hansi Flick heading into the final phase of the season.
