Sunderland interim CEO Tom Burwell will meet supporter representatives in the coming weeks after widespread concerns over ticketing and communication.

Supporters' group Red and White Army said talks with the club are ongoing and they expect to meet Burwell in the week commencing four May. They added that they are collecting fan feedback ahead of their next structured dialogue meeting.

Complaints have emerged across a broad cross-section of the fanbase during renewals, covering multiple ages, seating areas and ticket types. Reported problems include failed direct debits, seat allocation errors and ongoing difficulties selecting or relocating seats.

Communication has also been a focus, with many citing unclear or inconsistent information when trying to resolve issues. Similar experiences have been described in the Jimmy Montgomery Suite, corporate sections, 76 Yards and general admission.

New cases continue to surface, underlining the scale of the problem as Sunderland navigate their Premier League return. The upcoming meeting is expected to give representatives the chance to put concerns directly to senior figures.
