Super agent arrives in Barcelona | OneFootball

One of football’s most high-profile player agents touched down in Barcelona on Wednesday, ahead of a potential meeting with the Camp Nou brass.

That’s according to journalist Carlos Monfort, who highlights Jorge Mendes as the individual in question.

Portuguese agent Mendes represents a number of world football’s leading stars, several of which are currently plying their trade on the books of Barcelona.

This week, he therefore made the trip to Catalunya’s capital for the latest occasion.

As per a report from Carlos Monfort:

‘Jorge Mendes lands in Barcelona today with several pending matters. The representative of Lamine, Casadó and Balde arrives around lunchtime. We’ll see if there’s time to meet with Laporta and Deco.’

The details of the ‘pending matters’ being seen to by Mendes in Spain are currently unclear.

One could well come in the form of talks with Marc Casadó and those closest to him, though, amid ongoing speculation linking the 21-year-old with a move away from Barcelona.
