A new supercomputer has delivered a big call on Leeds United in its predicted final 2026-27 Premier League table. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, BettingLounge’s model also makes a notable judgement on Sunderland.
Leeds return for their second season back in the top flight after finishing 14th last term, eight points clear of the drop and four places above West Ham. Chairman Paraag Marathe has warned that year two can often be more difficult than the first.
Championship champions Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City are the newly promoted sides seeking to survive their first campaign back.
Sunderland face Europa League commitments after an outstanding seventh-placed finish, and bookmakers generally expect them to struggle. The supercomputer sees it differently.
The projection has Arsenal first on 82 points, with Manchester City second on 80 and Liverpool third on 72. Aston Villa are tipped for fourth with 68, Manchester United fifth on 65 and Chelsea sixth with 61.
