Ter Stegen, Araujo y De Jong in Flick’s squad for England camp | OneFootball

Barcelona have named Ter Stegen, Araujo y De Jong in Hansi Flick’s group for an eight-day pre-season camp in the United Kingdom.

They beat CE Europa 4-1 in a training match before heading to St. George’s Park, the England national team’s training base. According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the squad will arrive today and return on Monday 3 August.

Captain Marc-André ter Stegen features as his loan to Ajax takes longer than expected, while Frenkie de Jong is included despite a knee injury.

De Jong and Ronald Araujo are the first World Cup players to resume work with the team.

Recent signing Karim Adeyemi is in a 30-man group. Raphinha is expected to join on Wednesday, with the remaining World Cup players to follow later.

Barcelona play Birmingham City on Friday 31 July at 20.45, then a training game against Preston North End on Monday 3 August.
