Thiago Silva finally joins FC Porto and goes through the usual initiation

Thiago Silva was the main highlight of FC Porto’s first day of training in the Algarve this Tuesday. The experienced Brazilian centre-back is part of the group of 31 players participating in the training camp preparing for the second half of the season at Quinta do Lago, in Almancil.

At 41 years old, he also took part in some football traditions, walking through a corridor in the center of the pitch. His teammates welcomed the new number 3 jersey with some affectionate ‘pats’. The player, for his part, did not hide his satisfaction at being available to coach Francesco Farioli, who once again emphasized physical work, with exercises in the gym.
