Callum Wilson scored in the 93rd minute to win ‘El Sackio’ and earn West Ham their first win in 11 Premier League games.

For Spurs, it was another home defeat after what was one of their worst performances of the season.

Frank was louded booed by thousands of home fans at the full-time whistle.

But the under-fire manager insists he will improve the club’s results, teling reporters: “If we're winning it will change [the reaction of the fans] and we will.

“I still think we are closer [to turning things around] than further away.”

West Ham arrived in north London without a Premier League win in 10 matches, but held a deserved half-time lead thanks to Crysencio Summerville's 15th-minute opener.

Spurs looked short of ideas but after being booed off at half-time, Cristian Romero's bullet header offered hope.

Both teams pushed for a winner and it went the way of West Ham after Wilson bundled home from a corner in the third minute of stoppage-time to spark Tottenham's South Stand to call for Frank's dismissal after an eighth defeat in 14 matches.

He added: “We seem to be in the perfect storm at the moment. A last-minute defeat and when everyone feels they have given everything, including the fans, and you get a sucker punch, it's unbelievably tough to take for them, the players and me.

“I can promise it's extremely tough for me as well.”

“I think it’s no excuses. But also… we’re a little bit down to the bare bones with players, and we also need some of the offensive players to score a goal or two.

“All that is difficult for me to do like that and click with a finger. But I can promise that I’m sitting here, giving everything, every single day.”
