Three Ligue 1 clubs interested in Dunkerque’s Gessime Yassine | OneFootball

USL Dunkerque’s Gessime Yassine (20) has caught the attention of multiple clubs, according to La Voix du Nord. The Moroccan youth international has impressed during his time in France’s second tier, joining in the 2024 summer transfer window from the last of his boyhood clubs, Marignane Gignac Côte Bleue

The French outlet writes that Lille OSC are admirers of a player who plays his football not far from their backyard, while Olympique de Marseille are also said to be a potential suitor. Marseille sporting director, Medhi Benatia, appreciates Yassine’s profile. And Yassine is a supporter of Marseille, having been born in Salon-de-Provence. 

RC Strasbourg Alsace, who recently beat Dunkerque 2-1 in the Coupe de France (a game where Yassine won a penalty), are thought to appreciate his profile. And there is also interest in the Bundesliga, with La Voix du Nord writing that RB Leipzig, Werder Bremen, Hoffenheim, and Mainz are all interested.
