Hakan Calhanoglu, Yann Bisseck, and Luis Henrique have been named as three “problem players” for Cristian Chivu at Inter Milan.
Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, note that all three may struggle to fit into the Romanian’s plans for the team.
Cristian Chivu has had a mixed start to his first Serie A season as Inter coach.
After an emphatic 5-0 demolition of Torino on opening day, Inter suffered their first defeat of the campaign against Udinese.
There were two notable names in the Nerazzurri starting eleven for the loss to the Friulani, the Corriere note.

Firstly, the Corriere can’t help but note that Hakan Calhanoglu came into Inter’s starting eleven for the match against Udinese.
The Turkish international had been out against Torino with suspension. However, he made his return with much fanfare against Udinese.
However, Calhanoglu looked very rusty, struggling to cope with the physicality and pressure from Udinese.
This leads the Corriere dello Sport to question whether the 31-year-old can have the same influence in holding midfield under Chivu’s new regime that he did under Simone Inzaghi.
Then, there was defender Yann Bisseck. The German started on the right of the back three. This was likely due to the imminent departure of Benjamin Pavard to Marseille.
Bisseck looked a notable downgrade from Pavard. The 24-year-old’s positional sense in particular appeared a liability on counterattacks.
Particularly with the arrival of the experienced Manuel Akanji from Manchester City, the Corriere wonder whether Bisseck will be able to be a solid presence in defense going forward.
Furthermore, the newspaper also name one player who was not in Inter’s starting eleven.
The Nerazzurri signed Luis Henrique in June. They’ve aimed for the Brazilian to be a backup for Denzel Dumfries on the right, and to give the team a bit of a different spark with his pace and dribbling.
However, so far it is unclear whether coach Cristian Chivu really intends to make much use of Henrique.
