Tottenham will be without Cristian Romero for their trip to face Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League.
After beginning their European campaign with victory at home to Villarreal, Spurs now head to Norway to take on a side they beat on their way to Europa League glory last season.
However, they will do so without their captain, who has not travelled with the Spurs squad for Tuesday night’s match.
Romero was not seen at open training earlier in the day and the centre-back has been left at home.
Frank was quizzed on the exact nature of Romero’s issue, but opted instead to repeatedly say it was “just precaution,”
In Romero’s absence, Kevin Danso is expected to start alongside Micky van de Ven in the heart of defence.
Aside from being rested against Doncaster in the Carabao Cup, Romero had otherwise played every minute for Spurs this season.
The 27-year-old has been consistently impressive since behind handed the captain’s armband and has played a leading role in Spurs’ significantly improved defensive record.
After leaking goals at an alarming rate last season, Spurs have kept four clean sheets in all competitions so far this campaign. Only Arsenal and Crystal Palace have conceded fewer goals in the Premier League.
