The transfer window has been closed for a month, but the news hasn’t stopped, and clubs are still being linked with some of their biggest targets ahead of the summer.

Big news from Turkey and via CaughtOffside is that Arsenal are entering the race for Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker has been at Galatasaray since September last year, and has bagged 20 goals in 27 games for Okan Buruk’s side.

Osimhen was widely regarded as one of the hottest properties in Europe last summer and it was a shock to see him move to Turkey. His loan expires at the end of this season and he is set to return to Napoli.

However with relations between the striker and Italian club thought to have broken down, it is highly likely he will move again.

The Gunners are in desperate need of a striker with Gabriel Jesus out with a cruciate ligament injury and Kai Havertz not an out-and-out striker.

Elsewhere

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are keeping tabs on Borrusia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi.

The Blues have been looking for a winger for a while, with heavy links to Alejandro Garnacho in January, although a move never materialised.

And they are now reportedly in the market for Adeyemi. The 23-year-old can play on either wing and has 10 goal involvements for the German side this campaign.

He has spent the last three years at Dortmund and the end of this season could be the right time for him to move on. He possesses extreme speed, and has been clocked at 22.77 mph (36.65 km/h), which is one of the fastest speeds ever recorded in the Bundesliga.

His pace and directness make him a slightly different proposition to Chelsea’s other wingers, and he could be a very useful addition to Enzo Maresca’s side.

Sky Sports are reporting that Arsenal and Liverpool are both vying for the signature of Joshua Kimmich. Arsenal want him for their midfield whilst Liverpool could even look to use him as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who increasingly looks on his way out of the club.
