Riccardo Calafiori says it is important that Max Dowman is not put under too much pressure after becoming the Premier League’s youngest ever goalscorer on Saturday.
Dowman, 16, scored his first Premier Legaue goal and Arsenal’s second in a 2-0 win over Everton.
Calafiori says it is clear to see that the youngster is a special player, but urged everyone to give him the space he needs to develop.

“Obviously the first time that you see him on the pitch you’re quite curious about him,” Calafiori said on the youngster.
“He’s so young but at the same time so mature on the pitch. Still, yes, he can improve many things but he’s a talent. You can see it.
“But at the same time, I think we have to leave him quiet and try not to speak about him too much because he has everything.”
Calafiori has endured injury struggles this season, but says he feels fit again and praised the club’s increased squad depth for helping Mikel Arteta’s side to compete on all fronts.
“If you think about last season, in my point of view, I was really unlucky because it was both MCL (injuries) in a really strange way and this obviously didn’t help me a lot,” he said.
“But this season, until December, I was feeling amazing. Then injuries are part of our work, unfortunately.
“I would love to be always fit. We try always our best, but sometimes you have to accept.
“This season we made a huge step in terms of the depth of the squad. We have so many players that can help the team and now that I’m back I feel good.”
