Igor Tudor does ‘not see’ a big difference between Juventus and Milan as he’s satisfied with his players’ performances: ‘We played better than Atalanta and Villarreal.’
Juventus host Milan at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday and will be aiming to return to winning ways after four consecutive draws.
“I don’t know what kind of game it will be. Milan are a top-level team with a great coach and great players, and they are in good form. We’re playing at home and we have to play a great game,” Tudor said at a press conference on Saturday via Ilbianconero.com.

“What’s missing is a win, that’s clear. When I analyse, I look at the performance. Against Atalanta and Villarreal, we put in two great performances, and we played better than our opponents,” Tudor said.
“The players pushed hard and gave everything. We were just short of taking all three points.
“We’ve been playing the same way for six months; we surely have an identity.
“I’ve been asking for balance since day one. We try to do our best in attack and defence,” Tudor continued.
“We choose the right players and try to make the right substitutions during the match. What matters to me is seeing the team do what’s supposed to. Sometimes they don’t manage it for the whole 90 minutes; there are flow and limits, but we work to improve those things.
“We need to play a great match tomorrow. I don’t see big differences between us and Milan. The pitch will show who is stronger. They have the advantage of having played on Sunday or Monday, we have to give absolutely everything.”
Juventus conceded a late equaliser against Villarreal from a set piece on Wednesday.
“We also try to improve on set pieces every day. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I like this team because it has an identity and knows what to do with and without the ball,” Tudor said.
“It’s not about man-marking or zonal marking, or how many players there were. I put Vlahovic precisely to have more height. What we lacked was someone saying, ‘The ball is mine.’
“What matters to me is that the team has improved in the last two matches. That’s what counts. The result depends on many factors,” Tudor continued.
Gleison Bremer and Khephren Thuram missed the latest match against Villarreal, but while the former didn’t train with the rest of the team on Friday, the latter partially worked with the rest of the group.
It is still too early, however, to get fitness updates on the pair as the team will return to training later today.
“We’ll see after the training session today. I can’t say anything yet,” Tudor concluded.
Juventus are still unbeaten across all competitions this season but haven’t won since September 13 when they beat Inter 4-3 in Serie A.
